Based on LCD technology, the HIPPUS HY300 projects images in a Game-Portabel environment, with technical specs listing 120 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1500:1 and a HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution. An LED lifespan of 30000 hours is noted in the data sheet for this model – equivalent to a usable life of 20.5 years at 4 hours a day. To compensate for angled projection positions, the model features 2D keystone correction, which digitally corrects trapezoidal distortion. Looking at practical performance, up to 111 cm can be illuminated with 120 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 74 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P and 4K are supported. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. Furthermore, the model is Bluetooth-enabled, allowing audio signals to be sent wirelessly to external speakers. Thanks to support for Miracast and Airplay, screen content can also be cast wirelessly from a smartphone, tablet, or PC to the screen. With a value of only 25 decibels, the noise level during operation remains pleasantly in the background.
