The ASK Proxima E1600W is a LCD projector that brings 6000 ANSI lumens, a WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution alongside a contrast of 1500:1. According to ASK Proxima, the lamp has a durability of 4000 hours – mathematically sufficient for 5.5 years based on two hours of use per day. Both optical image shifting (lens shift) and digital keystone adjustment are included, enabling exact alignment on the screen. Accurate distances are provided by the Distance Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 6000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 787 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 525 cm. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. The projector was released in 2011 and is officially no longer distributed by ASK Proxima.
