Equipped with DLP technology, the Optoma EH503 offers 5200 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000:1 and is designed as a versatile projector. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 1500 hours for this projector's lamp. Thanks to the combination of optical lens shift and digital keystone correction, the projected image's position can be adjusted very flexibly. The optical system is designed for the use of interchangeable lenses, allowing for a tailor-made configuration for almost any throw ratio. The Lens Calculator is available to calculate the exact dimensions. Regarding projection size, the value of 5200 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 733 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 489 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content as well as 3D. Since entering the market in 2013, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
