Based on LCD technology, the Sharp XG NV4SE device delivers 700 ANSI lumens, a resolution of SVGA 800 x 600 and a contrast of 200:1 as a projector. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 2000 hours for this projector's lamp. Looking at practical performance, up to 230 cm can be illuminated with 700 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 153 cm. Since entering the market in 2000, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model. Important maintenance note: It is no longer possible to procure replacement lamps for this model.

Well, in principle you can do that, e.g. the lamp flap for changing the lamp. However, I would not check the electronics for stability. Or clean the optics -- what are specialists there for?

Can I just open the projector like this or do I have to pay attention to anything?
