Designed for the Homecinema sector, the XV Z91E model from Sharp features 600 ANSI lumens, a native SVGA 800 x 600 resolution and a contrast ratio of 1200:1. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 2500 hours for this projector's lamp. For basic image adjustment, the device is equipped with horizontal and vertical keystone correction, allowing digital compensation for trapezoidal distortion at angled projection setups. A look at the light output reveals: The 600 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 213 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 142 cm. In the specifications, the operating noise is listed at a mere 29 decibels, indicating very quiet cooling. The model is currently no longer actively offered on the market by the manufacturer.

I have owned the Sharp XV-Z91E since October 2003.
I have a Denon DVD 2200 and a scaler in between. The picture quality is phenomenal, considering that it‘s a 4:3 model, the Sharp doesn‘t need to shy away from current models. Simply superb - I would buy it again and again.
