According to Jmgo, the IRIS Ultra Max model provides 8125 ANSI lumens, a contrast ratio of 10000:1 alongside a UHD (4K2K) 3840 x 2160 resolution. Using this laser phosphor technology, the light source runtime is rated at 20000 hours – equivalent to a usable life of 13.7 years at 4 hours a day. For distortion-free image alignment, the projector offers both a lens shift function and keystone correction. The amount of leeway the lens provides can be checked in the Lens Shift Calculator. Because the manufacturer specifies brightness in ISO lumen values, we have determined an ANSI lumen value for better comparability. Looking at practical performance, up to 880 cm can be illuminated with 8125 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 587 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content and 4K as well as 3D, meaning standard Blu-ray formats are processed effortlessly.
