According to NexiGo, the Aurora Pro MKII model provides 2400 ANSI lumens, a contrast ratio of 4000:1 alongside a UHD (4K2K) 3840 x 2160 resolution. This is a laser projector with a light source designed to last for 20000 hours, which translates to 13.7 years with 4 hours of daily use. Thanks to its low throw ratio, the model is excellently suited for rooms with limited space. A distance of just 42 cm is sufficient to generate an image width of 2 meters. Looking at practical performance, up to 498 cm can be illuminated with 2400 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 332 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P and 4K as well as 3D are supported, meaning standard Blu-ray formats are processed effortlessly. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. Furthermore, the model is Bluetooth-enabled, allowing audio signals to be sent wirelessly to external speakers. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Thanks to support for Miracast and Airplay, screen content can also be cast wirelessly from a smartphone, tablet, or PC to the screen. A look at the data sheet confirms a very subtle fan noise for the projector at just 26 decibels.
