Based on DLP technology, the OTHA V8 device delivers 600 ANSI lumens, a resolution of WXGA 1280 x 800 and a contrast of 15000:1 as a projector. As an LED projector, the spec sheet indicates a lifespan of 50000 hours. With four hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 34.2 years. To ensure a rectangular image even with asymmetrical placement, the projector includes digital keystone correction for both the horizontal and vertical axes. To reduce dependence on stationary power sources, the model is equipped with a built-in battery for autonomous operation. A look at the light output reveals: The 600 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 249 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 166 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P and 4K. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. A look at the data sheet confirms a very subtle fan noise for the projector at just 28 decibels.
