Based on DLP technology, the ACTO DX229 projects images in a Standard-Portabel environment, with technical specs listing 3100 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 3500:1 and a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. According to ACTO, the lamp has a durability of 4000 hours. With two hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 5.5 years. Looking at practical performance, up to 485 cm can be illuminated with 3100 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 323 cm. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. The projector was released in 2012 and is officially no longer distributed by ACTO.
