The technical data of the Akiyo O3 includes 300 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 10000:1 as well as a HDTV 1920 x 1080 display. Akiyo lists a runtime of 30000 hours for the LED in this projector – equivalent to a usable life of 20.5 years at 4 hours a day. For basic image adjustment, the device is equipped with horizontal and vertical keystone correction, allowing digital compensation for trapezoidal distortion at angled projection setups. Looking at practical performance, up to 176 cm can be illuminated with 300 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 117 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. For wireless audio output, the projector also supports Bluetooth, making it easy to quickly connect external soundbars. Since the projector supports Miracast and Airplay screen mirroring, video signals can also be streamed wirelessly from the end device.
