Behind the name EL-800 is a 3D-LCD projector by Brilens, whose main features include 270 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 4000:1 and a SVGA 800 x 600 resolution. The LED unit of this model is rated for up to 20000 hours of runtime. With four hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 13.7 years. To allow for cross-manufacturer brightness comparisons, the stated ANSI lumen value is based on a conversion of the lumen specifications. A look at the light output reveals: The 270 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 143 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 95 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. The projector was released in 2015 and is officially no longer distributed by Brilens.
