The hardware properties of the MS1024W manufactured by Brilens include 210 ANSI lumens, a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution and a contrast value of 10000:1. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 5000 hours before a replacement is necessary. A daily usage of 2 hours makes an operational lifespan of 6.8 years possible. To make performance data comparable based on the lumen specifications, we calculated an approximate ANSI lumen value. Regarding projection size, the value of 210 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 126 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 84 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content as well as 3D.
