The projector XJ S38 by Casio operates as a DLP device with 2300 ANSI lumens, a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution and a contrast of 1800:1. According to Casio, the included lamp lasts up to 2000 hours. To ensure a rectangular image even with asymmetrical placement, the projector includes digital keystone correction for both the horizontal and vertical axes. Regarding projection size, the value of 2300 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 418 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 279 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. The projector was released in 2009 and is officially no longer distributed by Casio. Note: According to our information, replacement lamps (original or generic) are no longer available for this projector.
