The BlackWing Three MK 2008 model from CineVersum combines DILA technology in the High-End Homecinema sector with 1000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 30000:1 and a native HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 2000 hours. In terms of image alignment, the model offers an optical lens shift function, allowing the image to be shifted without quality loss. The exact adjustment leeway can be calculated in the Lens Shift Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 1000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 321 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 214 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. A look at the data sheet confirms a very subtle fan noise for the projector at just 21 decibels. Since entering the market in 2010, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
