Yes, nice idea to provide such a device (with physical VGA resolution 640x480) with an HDMI connection. Of course I also connected my Bluray player. The result is just as bad. To get rid of the blurring, I‘ve been routing the TV signal to a so-called TV box (actually made for watching TV on VGA monitors) for a few months now. From there, you can then feed the signal into the projector via VGA to get the optimum picture (but of course again in 640x480) with clearly visible pixels.

question: you‘re only talking about vga!? it also has an hdmi connection that can resolve up to 1080 pixels! how does the picture look there, or do you not have an hd-capable device available?

Compact - picture only good via VGA to PC ! |

I have been testing the projector for about 2 weeks now.
I bought it on eBay.
It runs stably, but the picture (resolution is not so bad at 640x480) is very strongly contoured via the RGB, S-Video and HDMI connections (comparable to the 2nd copy of a VHS recorder), but the individual pixels are displayed sharply on the screen. Unfortunately, the picture is only crystal clear via the built-in VGA port (play DVD via PC !!!)
I have tried to feed directly from the DVD player and satellite receiver using a SCART to VGA cable, but the projector is then unable to synchronize the picture!
Perhaps this is due to the different resolution (PAL and NTSC do not work, only in the receiver menu at low resolution).
The Windows desktop can be displayed in many resolutions.
For the low price and without high demands on the picture (children‘s cinema), the projector is suitable, for PC presentations SUPER. and also if you feed everything via PC. Apart from that, the picture quality makes you wish you had a tube TV with a small screen again, as the edges are not so noticeable
