The CP X385W model from Hitachi combines LCD technology in the Standard-Portabel sector with 2200 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 350:1 and a native XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. According to Hitachi, the included lamp lasts up to 2000 hours. To ensure a rectangular image even with asymmetrical placement, the projector includes digital keystone correction for both the horizontal and vertical axes. Regarding projection size, the value of 2200 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 408 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 272 cm. The projector was released in 2002 and is officially no longer distributed by Hitachi.
