The ED D11N model from Hitachi combines LCD technology in the Short Distance sector with 2000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 400:1 and a native XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 3000 hours. With its short projection distance, the short-throw model excels in smaller rooms, requiring only 112 cm of wall distance for an image width of 2 meters. Looking at practical performance, up to 389 cm can be illuminated with 2000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 259 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Since entering the market in 2010, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
