The HD282 model is a LED-DLP projector from Knoll Systems, intended for Homecinema applications, offering 1100 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2200:1 at HDTV 1280 x 720. According to Knoll Systems, the included lamp lasts up to 1500 hours. Looking at practical performance, up to 337 cm can be illuminated with 1100 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 225 cm. The projector was released in 2004 and is officially no longer distributed by Knoll Systems.
