The Multipic 5.2 model from Overmax combines LCD technology in the Standard-Portabel sector with 420 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 4000:1 and a native HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution. The built-in LED technology features a light source lifespan of 50000 hours – equivalent to a usable life of 34.2 years at 4 hours a day. Should a perpendicular setup to the screen not be possible, the integrated keystone correction (horizontal and vertical) helps to realign the image into a perfect rectangle. To allow for cross-manufacturer brightness comparisons, the stated ANSI lumen value is based on a conversion of the lumen specifications. Looking at practical performance, up to 208 cm can be illuminated with 420 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 139 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P and 4K are supported. With the Google TV operating system, the projector acts as a media hub with centralized access to various apps. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. Furthermore, the model is Bluetooth-enabled, allowing audio signals to be sent wirelessly to external speakers. Thanks to support for Miracast and Airplay, screen content can also be cast wirelessly from a smartphone, tablet, or PC to the screen.
