The VX 2000d / CineWide model is a LED-BrilliantColor-DLP projector from Runco, intended for Homecinema applications, offering 1550 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 3350:1 at HDTV 1920 x 1080. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 2000 hours. For precise setup, the device features a lens shift mechanism that allows for purely optical image shifting. The specifications identify the device as a model with an interchangeable lens option. Matching optional optics allow for exact adaptation to the required image size and projection distance, which can be calculated directly with the Projection Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 400 cm can be illuminated with 1550 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 267 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. Since entering the market in 2006, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model. Important maintenance note: It is no longer possible to procure replacement lamps for this model.
