The W2 model from Wimius combines LCD technology in the Standard-Portabel sector with 420 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 8000:1 and a native HDTV 1920 x 720 resolution. As an LED projector, the spec sheet indicates a lifespan of 90000 hours – equivalent to a usable life of 61.6 years at 4 hours a day. Should a perpendicular setup to the screen not be possible, the integrated keystone correction (horizontal and vertical) helps to realign the image into a perfect rectangle. To make performance data comparable based on the lumen specifications, we calculated an approximate ANSI lumen value. Regarding projection size, the value of 420 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 208 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 139 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. For wireless audio output, the projector also supports Bluetooth, making it easy to quickly connect external soundbars. Thanks to support for Miracast and Airplay, screen content can also be cast wirelessly from a smartphone, tablet, or PC to the screen. This model dates back to 2021 and is no longer part of Wimius's current product range. However, it remains frequently searched within our database.
