The SU11KAS model from Appotronics combines DLP technology in the Event sector with 11000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 100000:1 and a native WUXGA 1920 x 1200 resolution. Using this laser phosphor technology, the light source runtime is rated at 20000 hours – equivalent to a usable life of 13.7 years at 4 hours a day. An integrated lens shift provides significant leeway for placement. The lens can be adjusted to precisely align the image even with off-center installations. To meet a wide variety of installation conditions, the projector offers the option of using different interchangeable lenses. Verifying the respective distances is easily possible via the Distance Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 11000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 1244 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 829 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content and 4K. Connectivity for fixed installations is rounded off by an RJ45 port for remote maintenance and an HDBaseT interface, which transmits bundled video, audio, and control data over long cable runs.
