As a projector, the Caiwei A3 combines LCD technology with a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080, and is additionally specified with 168 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 1500:1. As an LED projector, the spec sheet indicates a lifespan of 50000 hours. With four hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 34.2 years. To ensure objective comparability, an approximate ANSI lumen value was calculated based on the lumen specifications. Looking at practical performance, up to 132 cm can be illuminated with 168 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 88 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. The model is currently no longer actively offered on the market by the manufacturer.
