As a projector for the Homecinema sector, the LG CF181D is equipped with 1800 ANSI lumens, a HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution and a contrast of 35000:1. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 3000 hours. An integrated lens shift provides significant leeway for placement. The lens can be adjusted to perfectly align the image even with off-center installations – exact dimensions are provided by the Lens Shift Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 1800 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 431 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 287 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. With a value of only 27 decibels, the noise level during operation remains pleasantly in the background. This model dates back to 2009 and is no longer part of LG's current product range. For your information: Compatible lamps for this device are no longer available in stores.
Changed the lamp today at 5531 hours (ECO mode), still running perfectly (!), old lamp has the finest cracks in the reflector layer, but otherwise looks completely okay on the outside. Hardly any dust in the appliance, but prismatic glass slightly dirty. Device is hanging from the ceiling. Picture slightly better after changing the lamp, still one of the best projectors, a great, vivid picture! Technology is fun!

lg cf 181 d
Previously had several small SONY 3 tube projectors, spoiled by the natural picture for decades. Then this one. Simply runs perfectly and produces a great picture, fascinates me every day, now already 3500 h on the clock, ECO mode. However, keep slightly reflective screen for tube, with added brilliance effect! 6 points out of 5!

Top HC Beamer!!!!
I bought the projector after my DLP was discontinued. I didn‘t want to go to the trouble of having it repaired and was looking for a new device. Due to the many positive reports on the Lcos picture quality, after initial hesitation due to the various shading reports, I decided on the LG.
In short, I‘m thrilled!!!!! The right decision!!! Top picture, no shading and for the price of a DLP device that‘s awesome!
Attention, I was almost put off by the projection ratio values shown here. The values here are really wrong. Download the manual and compare your distance and picture width values. I guess I‘ll be adding an even larger LW soon. The picture just gives it away :-)
So my crystal clear purchase recommendation for all those who are looking for top 2D quality and have nothing to do with 3D.

Top device - there is nothing better up to 2000,-€
I bought the projector and am very satisfied. Large zoom range, high light output, very quiet, good illuminated remote control, calibrated very good colors, no rainbow effect as with DLP projectors and it has the 120Hz intermediate image calculation and Sony‘s SXRD technology on board. You can‘t get more projector for your money. A clear recommendation to buy.

LG plays in the top league!!!
In this price range an overachiever! I will add some tests later. All initial problems (software etc.) have been solved! It can be calibrated very close to 65K, after which Sony and JVC are in the dark!!! Pure light. I have personally compared several devices (LCD, DLP, LCoS) and give a clear recommendation to buy!
Information on the projection ratio (zoom factor) on this W. page is FALSE!!! Please note. There are many little things that also convinced me. Lens protector does not sit directly on the optics, etc.

LG 181D
I am very satisfied! The quality, sharpness and very nice picture even in bright light!
I think it comes very close to a distance viewer with color and quality!
