The KX 2900 model is a LCD projector from Kindermann, intended for Standard-Portabel applications, offering 3000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 500:1 at XGA 1024 x 768. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 2000 hours. Looking at practical performance, up to 477 cm can be illuminated with 3000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 318 cm. Additionally, a built-in ambient light sensor measures the room lighting and automatically adjusts the projection settings. The projector was released in 2007 and is officially no longer distributed by Kindermann.
