Based on LCD technology, the Roly RL-85U projects images in a Stationary environment, with technical specs listing 8500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 3500000:1 and a WUXGA 1920 x 1200 resolution. The manufacturer lists the lifespan for this model at 20000 hours – equivalent to a usable life of 13.7 years at 4 hours a day. For distortion-free image alignment, the projector offers both a lens shift function and keystone correction, granting significant leeway during mounting. The optical system is designed for the use of interchangeable lenses, allowing for a tailor-made configuration for almost any throw ratio. The Projector Calculator is available to calculate the exact dimensions. Regarding projection size, the value of 8500 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 937 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 625 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P and 4K are supported. An additional 360° projection capability allows the device to be oriented at almost any angle. Connectivity for fixed installations is rounded off by an RJ45 port for remote maintenance and an HDBaseT interface, which transmits bundled video, audio, and control data over long cable runs.
