A projector from Suant is the HD 1600, whose LCD model delivers 1600 ANSI lumens, a resolution of SVGA 800 x 600 and a contrast of 600:1. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 6000 hours for this projector's lamp – mathematically sufficient for 8.2 years based on two hours of use per day. Looking at practical performance, up to 348 cm can be illuminated with 1600 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 232 cm. This model dates back to 2009 and is no longer part of Suant's current product range.
