The HIGHlite Platinum HC model is a DLP projector from Digital Projection, intended for High-End Homecinema applications, offering 3600 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1000:1 at SXGA 1280 x 1024. The specifications indicate lens shift optics, allowing the image to be physically shifted without introducing digital image artifacts. To meet a wide variety of installation conditions, the projector offers the option of using different interchangeable lenses. Verifying the respective distances is easily possible via the Distance Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 3600 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 508 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 339 cm. This device is no longer manufactured and has been removed from Digital Projection's current lineup.
