Equipped with DLP technology, the Digital Projection INSIGHT 4K Quad Lamp (Preliminary) offers 25000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000:1 and is designed as a versatile projector. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 1500 hours. In terms of image alignment, the model offers an optical lens shift function, allowing the image to be shifted without quality loss. The exact adjustment leeway can be calculated in the Lens Shift Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 779 cm can be illuminated with 25000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 519 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content and 4K as well as 3D, meaning standard Blu-ray formats are processed effortlessly. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. The projector was released in 2016 and is officially no longer distributed by Digital Projection.
