Based on LCD technology, the Anders + Kern AstroBeam X310 device delivers 3000 ANSI lumens, a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768 and a contrast of 800:1 as a projector. According to Anders + Kern, the included lamp lasts up to 1500 hours. The specifications identify the device as a model with an interchangeable lens option. Matching optional optics allow for exact adaptation to the required image size and projection distance, which can be calculated directly with the Lens Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 3000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 477 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 318 cm. Connectivity for fixed installations is rounded off by an RJ45 port for remote maintenance and an HDBaseT interface, which transmits bundled video, audio, and control data over long cable runs. This device is no longer manufactured and has been removed from Anders + Kern's current lineup. Important maintenance note: It is no longer possible to procure replacement lamps for this model.
