The EMP 505 is a LCD projector by Anders + Kern, whose specifications list 1100 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 400:1 and a SVGA 800 x 600 resolution. According to Anders + Kern, the included lamp lasts up to 1000 hours. A look at the light output reveals: The 1100 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 289 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 193 cm. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. Since entering the market in 2001, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
