A projector from ASK Proxima is the S1270, whose LED-LCD model delivers 2700 ANSI lumens, a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768 and a contrast of 800:1. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 3000 hours for this projector's lamp. Thanks to its low throw ratio, the model is excellently suited for rooms with limited space. A distance of just 122 cm is sufficient to generate an image width of 2 meters. Looking at practical performance, up to 453 cm can be illuminated with 2700 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 302 cm. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. The projector was released in 2011 and is officially no longer distributed by ASK Proxima.
