The projector LC X5 by Eiki operates as a LCD device with 6500 ANSI lumens, a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution and a contrast of 1100:1. According to Eiki, the included lamp lasts up to 2000 hours. In terms of image alignment, the model offers an optical lens shift function, allowing the image to be shifted on the projection surface without any loss of quality. Thanks to the interchangeable lens system, the device can be equipped with optional lenses to react flexibly to different room sizes. Exact values for specific rooms are provided by the Projection Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 6500 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 702 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 468 cm. The projector was released in 2002 and is officially no longer distributed by Eiki.
