According to Eiki, the EIP XSP2500 model provides 2500 ANSI lumens, a contrast ratio of 1600:1 alongside a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 5000 hours for this projector's lamp – mathematically sufficient for 6.8 years based on two hours of use per day. A special feature is the short-throw lens, which allows the device to be positioned at a very short distance from the screen. According to the data sheet, an image width of 2 meters is achieved from a distance of just 123 cm. Looking at practical performance, up to 435 cm can be illuminated with 2500 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 290 cm. Since entering the market in 2010, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
