Behind the name MP-JW4001 is a LCD projector by Maxell, whose main features include 4000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000000:1 and a WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution. With its built-in laser light source, the projector achieves a manufacturer-stated lifespan of 20000 hours – equivalent to a usable life of 13.7 years at 4 hours a day. Looking at practical performance, up to 643 cm can be illuminated with 4000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 429 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Since entering the market in 2020, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
