The basic data of the Specktron WXL-4000 includes 4000 ANSI lumens, a resolution of WXGA 1280 x 800 as well as a contrast of 10000:1. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 4000 hours before a replacement is necessary, which amounts to roughly 5.5 years at 2 hours of daily use. To ensure a rectangular image even with asymmetrical placement, the projector includes digital keystone correction for both the horizontal and vertical axes. With its built-in wide-angle optics, the device belongs to the category of short-throw projectors. An image width of 2 meters is realized from a short distance of 54 cm. Regarding projection size, the value of 4000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 643 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 429 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Equipped with a microphone jack and built-in speakers (10W), audio signals during presentations can be played back directly without an external audio system. This model dates back to 2020 and is no longer part of Specktron's current product range.
