Model Overview With the XL 328, Specktron offers a Laser-LCD projector that features 2800 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1600:1 and a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 4000 hours. A daily usage of 2 hours makes an operational lifespan of 5.5 years possible.
Looking at practical performance, up to 461 cm can be illuminated with 2800 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 307 cm.
The projector was released in 2014 and is officially no longer distributed by Specktron.
