A projector from XGIMI is the Titan Noir Max, whose 3D-LED-DLP model delivers 8750 ANSI lumens, a resolution of UHD (4K2K) 3840 x 2160 and a contrast of 10000:1. Using this laser phosphor technology, the light source runtime is rated at 30000 hours, which translates to 20.5 years with 4 hours of daily use. Thanks to the combination of optical lens shift and digital keystone correction, the projected image's position can be adjusted very flexibly. The Projection Calculator helps find the optimal installation dimensions. To ensure objective comparability, an approximate ANSI lumen value was calculated based on the ISO lumen values. A look at the light output reveals: The 8750 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 803 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 535 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content and 4K as well as 3D, meaning standard Blu-ray formats are processed effortlessly. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. With a value of only 28 decibels, the noise level during operation remains pleasantly in the background.
