The DPX 1000 model is a LED-DLP projector from Yamaha, intended for High-End Homecinema applications, offering 800 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1500:1 at HDTV 1280 x 720. According to Yamaha, the lamp has a durability of 2000 hours. To facilitate room installation, the device is equipped with mechanical lens shift and additional keystone correction. Precise setup distances can be determined in the Projector Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 800 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 287 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 191 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. Regarding noise emissions, the model proves to be exceptionally quiet during operation, producing just 30 decibels. Since entering the market in 2002, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model. In our projector directory, the device still generates high interest.
