Designed for the Homecinema sector, the DPX 830 model from Yamaha features 1000 ANSI lumens, a native HDTV 1280 x 720 resolution and a contrast ratio of 4000:1. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 3000 hours. Looking at practical performance, up to 321 cm can be illuminated with 1000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 214 cm. In the specifications, the operating noise is listed at a mere 26 decibels, indicating very quiet cooling. The projector was released in 2006 and is officially no longer distributed by Yamaha.
