The InFocus Authentic I IN1048SL is a 3D-DLP projector offering 6000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000000:1 and a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080. The manufacturer lists the lifespan for this model at 30000 hours – equivalent to a usable life of 20.5 years at 4 hours a day. The image geometry can be adjusted via the built-in keystone correction so that a clean, rectangular display is achieved even with non-ideal placement. Regarding projection size, the value of 6000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 787 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 525 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P and 4K as well as 3D are supported, meaning standard Blu-ray formats are processed effortlessly. Connectivity for fixed installations is rounded off by an RJ45 port for remote maintenance and an HDBaseT interface, which transmits bundled video, audio, and control data over long cable runs. With a value of only 30 decibels, the noise level during operation remains pleasantly in the background.
