Based on DLP technology, the InFocus IN138HD device delivers 4000 ANSI lumens, a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080 and a contrast of 28500:1 as a projector. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 5500 hours before a replacement is necessary, which amounts to roughly 7.5 years at 2 hours of daily use. Regarding projection size, the value of 4000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 643 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 429 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content as well as 3D. A look at the data sheet confirms a very subtle fan noise for the projector at just 21 decibels. The projector was released in 2019 and is officially no longer distributed by InFocus.
