The IN1118HDLC model is a 3D-DLP projector from InFocus, intended for Whiteboard applications, offering 2400 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 15000:1 at HDTV 1920 x 1080. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 6000 hours, achieving a lifespan of 8.2 years when used for 2 hours a day. A look at the light output reveals: The 2400 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 498 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 332 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P as well as 3D are supported. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Since the projector supports Miracast and Airplay screen mirroring, video signals can also be streamed wirelessly from the end device. Specifically for the educational or business sector, an interactive whiteboard function is also integrated. A look at the data sheet confirms a very subtle fan noise for the projector at just 30 decibels. Since entering the market in 2016, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
