The InFocus LP650 is a Laser-DLP projector that brings 2500 ANSI lumens, a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution alongside a contrast of 800:1. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 1500 hours. Regarding projection size, the value of 2500 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 435 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 290 cm. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Since entering the market in 2002, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.

Always looking for a home cinema effect, I bought the projector second-hand. It‘s my first device and, as a borrower, I‘m completely satisfied. It hangs on the ceiling and produces a very good picture (even on the wallpaper as a screen). Last week I bought a new SAT receiver with an HDMI connection. Well, how to connect it? The Infocus hotline gave me a quick answer. An M1 adapter on the DVI interface makes this possible. Long HDMI cable connected: It works !!! HDTV reception, really great for such an "old" device. I wouldn‘t want to be without the projector, because such a large "screen" is not affordable as an LCD. I‘ll also be buying a screen soon.
