With the VP 11S1, Marantz offers a DLP projector that features 700 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 6500:1 and a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 2000 hours before a replacement is necessary. In terms of image alignment, the model offers an optical lens shift function, allowing the image to be shifted without quality loss. The exact adjustment leeway can be calculated in the Distance Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 700 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 269 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 179 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. This model dates back to 2006 and is no longer part of Marantz's current product range. Note: According to our information, replacement lamps (original or generic) are no longer available for this projector.
