Based on DLP technology, the Marantz VP 8000 device delivers 700 ANSI lumens, a resolution of SVGA 800 x 600 and a contrast of 500:1 as a projector. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 2000 hours. Regarding projection size, the value of 700 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 230 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 153 cm. This device is no longer manufactured and has been removed from Marantz's current lineup. Note: According to our information, replacement lamps (original or generic) are no longer available for this projector.
