With the VP 13S1, Marantz offers a DLP projector that features 700 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 4000:1 and a resolution of HDTV 1280 x 720. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 2000 hours. A look at the light output reveals: The 700 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 269 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 179 cm. Since entering the market in 2005, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
