The projector ProScreen 4000 by Philips utilizes LCD technology and, according to the spec sheet, achieves 350 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 150:1 at a resolution of VGA 640 x 480. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 4000 hours – mathematically sufficient for 5.5 years based on two hours of use per day. A look at the light output reveals: The 350 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 163 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 109 cm. This device is no longer manufactured and has been removed from Philips's current lineup.
