The basic data of the Philips Screeneo U4 includes 400 ANSI lumens, a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080 as well as a contrast of 370:1. An LED lifespan of 30000 hours is noted in the data sheet for this model. Daily use of 4 hours makes an operational lifespan of over 20.5 years possible. Thanks to its low throw ratio, the model is excellently suited for rooms with limited space. A distance of just 50 cm is sufficient to generate an image width of 2 meters. Looking at practical performance, up to 203 cm can be illuminated with 400 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 135 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. Furthermore, the model is Bluetooth-enabled, allowing audio signals to be sent wirelessly to external speakers. With a value of only 29 decibels, the noise level during operation remains pleasantly in the background. Since entering the market in 2022, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model. As an archive device, the projector remains highly relevant in our database.
