Model Overview As a projector for the Homecinema sector, the Planar PD8120 is equipped with 1300 ANSI lumens, a HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution and a contrast of 3000:1. According to Planar, the lamp has a durability of 3000 hours.
The presence of a lens shift function enables flexible vertical or horizontal positioning of the projector. The achievable distances are shown in the Projector Calculator.
Regarding projection size, the value of 1300 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 366 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 244 cm.
For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported.
The projector was released in 2007 and is officially no longer distributed by Planar.
